Carta Solida ensures that ‘all eyes’ are on Flormar’s new cosmetics range

Right from the initial brief, Kosan Kozmetik recognised that the packaging design for its new Flormar ‘All Eyes on Me’ collection needed to emulate the brand name and ensure that this range stood out from the crowd. For maximum display impact this ambitious design focused on two popular consumer trends: a hounds-tooth pattern (which is very popular in the textiles and cosmetics industries), and an equally popular velvety texture. This exciting combination resulted in the cosmetics industry's first carton design that features a velvety decoration on a matt metallised surface.

This innovative presentation helped ensure the success of the collection, both in terms of sales and consumer feedback, leading to the new design being incorporated into the ‘All Eyes on Me’ programme permanently.

Ground breaking design recognised at Pro Carton ECMA Awards 2016

Flormar’s new cosmetics packaging was the winner of the Beauty & Cosmetics category at the Pro Carton ECMA Awards 2016, which has become the most prestigious European prize for carton packaging.
