Tako HiD, fully coated paperboard

Tako HiD is a fully coated paperboard with coated back, available in a basis weight range of 225-260 g/m2, and suitable for gravure and offset printing.

Tako HiD is a highly rigid and robust cigarette packaging grade designed for super premium cigarette brands. It features the highest brightness on both top and reverse sides, and its topside coating provides a base for achieving excellent printing results. The high stiffness of Tako HiD ensures faultless runnability at high conversion and packing speeds. All this is achieved with a lightweight construction that allows lower basis weights than those of comparable competing grades to be used, without compromising strength and performance.

Tako HiD is made from fresh forest fibres, traceably sourced in sustainably managed northern forests. All of Metsä Board’s products are manufactured under the highest environmental and safety standards, and hold PEFC and FSC® chain of custody certification and FSC controlled wood status.

Tako HiD is recommended for cigarette packaging:

  • outers
  • round corner, bevel edge and ither novel cigarette package designs
