Metsä Board demonstrates its complete offering at Interpack

Interpack in Dusseldorf, 4–10 May - Hall 11 B04

At Interpack, Metsä Board will showcase its range of lightweight paperboards, and for the first time, it will be presenting PE coated boards from the company’s new extrusion coating line. Metsä Board will also be presenting a selection of services that complement its paperboard offering and enable the customer to achieve the very best out of their packaging.

Visitors to the Metsä Board stand will be able to discuss specific packaging requirements and how structural design and converting, print and finishing techniques can add considerable value and impact to the final packaging design.

Furthermore, on display will be samples of the recently launched Lidloc patented design which is based upon an extension to a standard cup structure that folds and locks into an integrated lid. This innovative design removes the need for a separate plastic lid. Lidloc is a perfect example of how Metsä Board’s design services can create material savings and sustainable design using Metsä Board’s lightweight boards.

All Metsä Board’s paperboards are made from a renewable and recyclable resource – fresh fibres - that are of known origin and naturally pure. Fresh fibre paperboards are clean and safe making them ideal for direct food contact packaging. Fresh fibres also help ensure brightness of appearance and add to the ultimate strength for any packaging design.
