Carta Elega makes CityCards look and feel inviting
CityCards is a brand of four-colour-printed advertising postcards available free in 6,500 locations all over Germany. The CityCards stands offer seventeen different postcards, changed weekly, that promote local cultural attractions, restaurants and leisure activities.
Verlag culturtraeger GmbH, founded in 1993 in Leipzig, is the printer of CityCards in Central Germany. The company is the market leader in indoors advertising media in its region.
Consistently pleasing to sight and touch
Culturtraeger uses Metsä Board’s Carta Elega paperboard for the CityCards, advertising cards, flyers and brochures the company prints.
Consistent thickness is one of the main requirements culturtraeger has for the board. Carta Elega certainly fits the bill, ensuring that the cards can always be packed 1,000 pieces per box.
In addition to good printability on both sides, the board needs to have confidence-inducing tactile properties – smoothness and sturdiness, not flimsiness. Printed on Carta Elega, the CityCards not only look attractive but also feel inviting to the touch
