Metsä Board, the world’s leading producer of coated white-top kraftliners, will announce a new liner at FachPack 2013, complementing its market-leading Kemiart range. Made from fresh forest fibres, the new liner is suitable for direct contact with food and other sensitive products. It will also be ideal for microflute applications such as perfume, beautycare and healthcare packaging, as well as for larger items such as online and mail-order packaging.
“This new product complements our Kemiart range of white top kraftliners by providing even more options for our customers,” says
Risto Auero, VP Linerboard Sales, Metsä Board Paperboard. “It helps meet demand for lighter-weight packaging and opens up exciting opportunities for combining a lighter liner with fluting in innovative ways.”
The full range of Kemiart Liners is also on show at Fachpack, having proved especially popular since its upgrading and the introduction of lighter substances for Kemiart Lite+.
Metsä Board is also showing its folding boxboard range which includes recent enhancements to its grades Avanta Prima, Simcote and Carta Elega. The product enhancements improve the suitability of each cartonboard in the range for a particular packaging end-use such as food; beautycare; healthcare; or luxury packaging and graphics applications.
